This position will support Meter Reading and Services

•Responsibilities include direct supervision of associates within Meter Reading and Services

•Monitor and analyze individual performance toward achievement of scorecard targets.

•Plan, organize and coordinate a diverse workforce on short and long term basis to work safely and efficiently to maximize operational effectiveness and achieve department targets.

•Supervise and lead by initiating, guiding and supporting associate involvement by creating/ facilitating problem solving teams geared to establish best practice approaches to Meter Reading/Field Operation activities.

•Analyze data to assess customer satisfaction and adjust local procedures.

•Maintain staffing levels/requirements to best meet customer needs.

•Demonstrated ability to coordinate and organize activities/projects.

•Interacts with local electric shops as needed.

•Provide technical support to associates regarding Meter Reading/Field Operation and company policies and procedures.

•Plan and manage analysis, delivery and execution of key meter data management processes.

•Promote diversity and foster teamwork, collaboration, and a learning organization.

•Evaluate performance and provide coaching for associates.

•Maintain and apply working knowledge of PSEG LI Standards for Business Controls and meet management's expectations for effective internal business controls.

 

Knowledge and Experience Required:

•BA/BS Degree and 2 years of relative work experience or minimum of 4 years equivalent work experience

•Excellent computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

•Must have excellent analytical and communication skills

•Candidate must foster an inclusive work environment and value all aspects of diversity.

 

Desired Skills:

•Experience in Meter Reading Services or experience supervisory capacity leading team is a plus

 

Required Competencies:

•Candidate must possess planning and organizational skills.

•Analytical skills and attention to detail.

•Must also have a sense of teamwork and initiative.

•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

•Results oriented.
