Senior Financial Planning and Rates Analyst

DESCRIPTION

The Senior Financial Planning and Rates Analyst assists the Analytics Office with performing long-range financial and capital planning, fees and rates analysis and corporate performance reporting. This position analyzes financial model designs for fees and rates; analyzes financial and benefit plans for capital projects; maintains and updates system rate models; prepares the financial long range plan; researches and reports on corporate performance; provides guidance and direction to part-time financial analysts; and performs financial analysis on capital projects including but not limited to revenue and expense analysis and other projects as assigned.

The qualified candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field, along with a minimum of seven years of experience.  A valid North Carolina driver's license is required.   Normal work schedule is Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
