Xcel Energy is searching for an intern for the summer of 2017 to work with our communications team in the Transmission department. The candidate must be a junior or senior college student pursuing a degree in Journalism, Communications or English. The intern will work 30-40 hours per week during daytime hours.
Among the responsibilities, the intern will assist in creating communications materials including articles, fact sheets, videos and web content to educate the public on planned Xcel Energy transmission projects. The intern will also help with administrative duties including tracking phone and email messages.
