Role Summary / Purpose:

 

Accountable for the overall performance, safety and quality execution of all projects in the power generation and industrial markets.

 

Essential Responsibilities:

 

Provide leadership to the operations staff in line with IPCL policies and goalsParticipate with IPCL’s executive team to develop and implement plans to achieve strategic growth objectivesExecute on long-range objectives and business plans in line with company values and risk profilesMaintain key customer relationships within the power generation and industrial industriesEnsure compliance with all government, customer, company and contract policies, procedures, plans and specificationsDirect all operations functions including business administration, operations employee assignments, project coordination, planning and executionAssure compliance with all safety and quality requirementsLead all risk management efforts in the day to day operations of the business

 

Qualifications / Requirements:

 

Bachelor’s degreeMinimum of 15 years’ experienceSignificant experience working in the power generation mechanical construction and service industryExpert level technical knowledge of boilers, turbines, balance of plant systems and pipingEffective leadership skills capable of involving and influencing all levels of company employees and customers staffStrong financial acumenOperations management experienceDemonstrated contract negotiations and risk management experienceEnvironmental, health & safety and quality knowledgeStrong oral, written, computer and interpersonal communication skills
