Missoula Electric Cooperative, Inc. is a member-owned electric cooperative with 42 employees providing service to more than 14,600 meters within a 986-square-mile service area located in western Montana. Residential members are the co-op’s largest single consumer group.
Missoula, the second largest city in Montana with a metropolitan population of more than 117,000 is the home to the University of Montana, a public research university. Missoula is a regional destination for shopping, dining and cultural events including symphony, ballet, theatre, film festivals and college sports.
