Administrative Assistant

Description:
Leidos is seeking a part-time Administrative Assistant that is an excellent communicator, who wants to learn the art of executive administrative support. This is an excellent opportunity for a very sharp person to join the Corporate team in our new Washington, D.C. office! The Administrative Assistant will report to the office 3 days each week.
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:- This role is responsible for administrative support for multiple executives and team members within Corporate office.- Performing a broad range of administrative duties including scheduling and coordinating in-person and virtual meetings and conference calls- Managing calendars and appointments for the team- Distributing daily mail, - Assisting in preparation of business travel arrangements and expense reports- Paying invoices and maintaining adequate office supply inventory- Assisting with document, report and presentation preparation- Greet and be the “face of Leidos” to visitors at the front desk- Coordinating with the IT and Facilities departments for issue resolution- Tracking and monitoring records retention for the department- Maintaining user accesses and document inventory for internal collaboration/file-sharing site- Assist in ensuring policy documents are maintained and updated as appropriate- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
- A minimum of a high school diploma and 2+ years of general administrative support experience. College coursework will be considered in lieu of direct experience.In addition:- Strong proficiency in MS Office, to include Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.- Must possess strong organizational skills, be able to multi-task in a fast-paced, complex environment with multiple competing priorities.- Must be responsive and work with a sense of urgency.- Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally, verbally and in writing, to employees and managers of all levels, to include senior- and executive-level management.- Available to work 3 days each week (flexible) – certain days may be required due to office activity. 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 
• BA/BS in any related field. • Knowledge of Leidos organization and policies. • Experience with Leidos purchasing systems and Concur Travel/Expense system. • Strong interest in learning the Administrative function.
