Position Specific Description
This position is responsible for all the accounts receivables for the FPLES organization. Here you will perform month end closing activities including journal entries and account reconciliation. This position will be responsible for determining the revenue position for FPL ReadiPower. You will have the opportunity to assist with analysis and other special projects. The candidate must have strong accounting knowledge; excellent analytical skills and advanced Excel skills. A Degree in Accounting/Finance is preferred. Strong communication skills are required. The candidate must have a positive and enthusiastic attitude and be a team player. In this role you will be able to apply your accounting/finance and analytical skills and have the opportunity to grow within the organization.
Employees in this role conduct basic operational analyses that support informed decision making within the business unit. Key responsibilities include small to medium special projects, quantitative and qualitative research, process design and modification, and report development. Individuals in this role apply standardized tools and techniques.
