Monday - Friday from 7:00am - 4:00pm with extend hours as necessary.
This position directly supports MTC Lab operations and specifically crucial aspects of the Smart Meters initiative such as, acceptance testing, quality control, evaluation engineering, ANSI compliance testing and will be responsible for updating and maintaining the MTC UIQ test environment (back office). This employee will support the existing engineering staff in a variety of projects related to Smart Meters product performance as well as creation of technical documentation. In this role, you are responsible for routine engineering assignments involving basic engineering techniques.
Duties include applying practical applications of engineering principles, practices and procedures. Works under close supervision with detailed instructions. Performs data analysis and basic engineering tasks for completion of small projects. Perform basic engineering calculations required for simple designs. Collects and evaluates data to recommend courses of action. Assists more experienced engineers in the completion of large complex projects.
The top candidate should have an Electrical Engineering degree. GPA must be 3.00 or above. Please upload your transcript along with your resume when you apply.
