Vision: INL will change the world's energy future and secure our critical infrastructure.Responsibilities Be responsible to the ATR Programs Planning Manager for the identified roles and responsibilities supporting the planning process throughout the maintenance organization. Provide leadership, guidance, and direction for ATR Programs Maintenance on all aspects of the planning process associated with the obtaining/staging of materials to support work activities. Position requires demonstrated technical knowledge, self-initiative, independence, and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities will include the following as assigned by the ATR Programs Planning Manager or Planning Lead:• Review and approve spares, general use inventory requirements, and new item initiation.• Develop material request for work order and non-work order material requirements.• Perform troubleshooting and provide resolution for quality, receiving, and accounting discrepancies associated with material procurement.• Disposition unused or residual material by returning to inventory or by initiating the disposal or excess process.• Stage material in the appropriate location for each work order.• Track all material deliveries to the material receiving and staging area.• Initiate and maintain control of all quality significant material received by transporting and storing the material or delivering to requestor.• Control staging area and check out material to craftsmen.• Provide material status to the material requisition requestor and production control for material deliveries.• Maintain capabilities and qualifications current that are needed to perform position roles and responsibilities.• Ensure that work is performed in a safe, secure, cost effective, and compliant manner.• Ensure effective integration of ESH, quality, business management, and compliance policies into all work activities.• Establish effective working relationships with management, staff, peers, crafts, planners, and customers.• Ensure quality of products and services delivered.• Cross training related to the material coordinator position may also be performed as deemed necessary by the ATR Programs Planning Manager.• Perform other functions as directed by the ATR Programs Planning Manager and/or Planning Lead.• Work under minimal supervision, provide leadership within the work unit, and have frequent contact with outside organizations
Cross training may include, but not be limited to the following:• Maintain knowledge, serve as the subject matter expert, and provide problem solutions for all aspects of Asset Suites, including the master equipment list (MEL), associated with the processing of requests for service, tracking work order status, issuing work documents, material acquisitions, and tracking material status.• Input work requests from request for service in to Asset Suite.• Assemble corrective, preventive, and modification maintenance work orders for issue.• Enter equipment history data and work order feedback comments in to Asset Suite.• Closeout completed work documentation.• Coordinate with appropriate individuals to resolve work order administrative issues.• Maintain database of all ready-to-work items within the facility to be performed by ATR Programs Maintenance.• Archive completed work documentation including work orders.• Maintain post job feedback database and provide status of comments. Requirements:
High School Diploma (or equivalent) and at least 4 years of related work experience.
Technical knowledge of maintenance work control processes and procurement processes
Position requires communication/interface with a variety of customers, sponsors, and internal management personnel at all levels. A thorough knowledge of company policies and procedures and the ability to organize and prioritize work loads are key. Must be able to work under pressure to meet administrative and program commitments while maintaining quality of work and effective interfaces.
