East River Electric is seeking an experienced engineer responsible for ensuring compliance with reliability standards as mandated by the North American Energy Reliability Corporation (NERC), Midwest Reliability Organization (MRO), and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC).

This full-time regular position will assist with the management and coordination of East River’s compliance programs and activities with respect to the NERC Reliability Standards and ensure compliance with other regulatory requirements.

Position requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
  • Minimum of five or more years of experience in utility planning, operations, maintenance, and/or compliance administration is preferred.
  • Prior utility experience in areas of NERC Compliance or other similar compliance experience may be considered in lieu of degree requirements
  • Proficiency with computer technology.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
