Defensive Cyber Operations Analyst
Leidos is seeking a Defensive Cyber Operations Analyst (DCO) for our customer site in Suitland, MD.this position requires an active TS/SCI clearance. The DCO Analyst will provide support to ensure products and services comply with all appropriate Information Assurance policies/procedures, network defense requirements and best practices as prescribed by ODNI, DIA, DoD, DISA, Navy Cyber Defense Operations Command (NCDOC), NCIS, Intelligence Community-Incident Response Center (ICIRC), and local authorities.
The DCO Analyst will provide support protection activities and response actions for government Information Technology systems.
The analyst will help ensure that all products and services delivered on this contract meet or exceed the security criteria specified by external authorities for computer network defense.
MS and 2+ years of experience in the CND discipline OR BS and 4+ years of experience in the CND discipline OR an AS degree with 6+ years experience in the CND discipline; additional experience may considered in lieu of a degree
Active CEH certification or ability to achieve a CEH certification within 6 months of hire
Active TS/SCI clearance4+ yrs with CND tools such as HBSS, IPS, Log and data analysis
Experience with DoD Directive 8500.01E, Chairman Joint Chief of Staff (CJCS) Instruction 6510.01, DoD Instruction O-8530.2, and Secretary of the Navy Instruction (SECNAVINST) 5239.3B
Experience with CND disciplines within the DoD, DISA, Commander 10th Fleet (NCDOC and Navy Network Warfare Command) and/or DoDIIS Experience with IC tools, systems, and reporting mechanisms and requirements for CND
Knowledge of DoD, IC, and national level system security initiatives and LAN/WAN technologies
Experience establishing and managing high performing CND teams, including utilizing industry, DOD and IC standards to create ISC “best practices”
Moderate experience in CND, CNE and computer network attack tools and techniques.
Moderate experience in continuous IA Vulnerability Assessment (VA) risk assessment and remediation activities
