Document Management Analyst

The Document Management Analyst participates in the development of policies, procedures and tools for Records Management compliance. Develops and delivers Ameren-wide communications and training to co-workers on Records Management tools and compliance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide direction to co-workers regarding Records Management Policies and Procedures compliance, including on-site visits to assist with record classification and retention.
  • Develop training and communication materials and present to Records and Statistical Clerks, Records Coordinators and Records Custodians
  • Develop and maintain all records applications, including our records management system. Work with the Digital Team on the development of additional electronic records systems, manage these systems, develop and provide user training and communications.
  • Lead the record destruction approval process and ensure proper methods of destruction for corporate records, establishing procedures and documentation.
  • Provide customer guidance regarding the Records Management program and related tools.
  • Manage vendor relationship with Iron Mountain by measuring performance, addressing service issues and following-up with service requests as needed.
  • Complete special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree required, Business or IT focus preferred. Three or more years of records management experience required. Experience with developing/following records retention schedules, supporting electronic records systems, managing compliance with records management policies, developing/following records management procedures is required.

In addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate will demonstrate:

Working knowledge of the MS Office Suite of applications required. Experience with LEAN or Continuous Improvement efforts preferred.
