Electrical Engineering Project Manager

This position is responsible for managing technical projects, including leading teams, in technical activities which include the following: identifying necessary project tasks and required staffing resources, verifying the completion of tasks, insuring the quality of products, maintaining project plans and schedules, reporting project status and providing effective guidance and communication to the project team.


Direct and manage the activities of technical and business teams in the execution of complex projects or programs.


  • Directing all planning efforts in support of assigned project(s).  Submittal of project Charters, plans and budgets
  • Setting priorities, resolving conflicts
  • Implement effective project controls, monitor project performance.  Establish effective project reporting mechanisms
  • Establish and meet project schedule and cost performance objectives

Relationship Management:

  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with all project stakeholders and project team members
  • Report effectively on project/program progress and performance


  • Bachelor degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Business degree is required
  • Minimum of five years of experience including Project /Program Management experience in the area of IT/Automation systems implementation; preferably in the power industry
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills
  • Conflict resolution skills
  • Familiarity with working in cross functional circumstances
  • Project management tools: scope definition and management, resource scheduling, milestones, dependencies
