Daymark Energy Advisors is a is a leading provider of integrated policy, planning, and strategic decision support services to the North American electricity and natural gas industries. We serve a mix of clients, including utilities, market participants, energy consumers, regulators, and energy policy agencies. We provide each client with objective analysis and strategic advice to help them navigate the complexities and uncertainties of market and regulatory environments.

Position Summary: The Intern will provide research and analysis of electricity and natural gas markets, technologies, and policies. The Intern’s work may be in support of active consulting assignments or company R&D. All efforts are made to structure discrete projects that can be completed during the internship.

Qualifications: We are seeking candidates with a passion for the energy industry and history of academic excellence and extracurricular achievement. The qualified candidate will be/have:

  • Highly quantitative, with the ability to do thorough analysis
  • Problem solver with a ‘why not’ attitude
  • Strong Excel skills, with an ability to build models that use features such as vlookup, hlookup, formula relationships, pivot tables, macros, etc.
  • Experience with MatLab or R is desireable

Compensation: This is a paid internship. Compensation will depend on level of experience and education.

The position will be located in our Worcester, MA office.
