Energy Program Analyst

Job Description:

The Leidos NISC III program is looking for an Energy Program Analyst with a background in energy efficiency, water conservation efforts, energy and water consumption data analysis, and report writing to work on a full time basis supporting the Energy Management and Compliance (EMC) Program, Air Traffic Organization, FAA. The selected individual will work as a part of the team that tracks water and energy usage of various FAA facilities, monitors their usage and consumption, analyzes billing histories, tracks variances and assists in producing monthly, quarterly and ad hoc reports in support of the EMC Program's mission. This includes supporting compliance measures and projects stemming from a wide variety of executive orders and agency and federal energy mandates like EISA energy and water evaluation compliance, Energy Star Portfolio Manager (ESPM) reporting, High Performance Sustainable Building (HPSB) Guiding Principle requirements, Sustainability Scorecard etc.

The job also requires the selected individual to work with both Head Quarters Program Manager and service area Implementation Managers to input requirements, funding information, initiate and track projects, obtain facility information, baseline energy and water usage and review and evaluate that information for submission to Compliance Tracking System (CTS).

Qualifications - External

Bachelor's degree with at least 6 years of work experience

Experience working/analyzing Energy and Water Data- both billing and consumption

Experience Building Benchmarking in CTS

Experience working with HPSB Checklists in ESPM

Experience working with Utility Consumption Data in ESPM

Experience reviewing billing histories from utilities and baselining facility energy consumption

Experience reviewing and completing energy and water evaluations for CTS compliance

Ability to communicate and coordinate with stakeholders (Written and verbal)

Ability to work with minimal direction and supervision

Ability to multi task

Command of technical writing associated with compiling reports

Ability to use MS Office applications for analysis, documentation and presentations

Desired Skills:

LEED Certification or any other Energy related certification

Experience working with or supporting the Energy Program of any Federal Agency

Experience working with FAA's Corporate Work Plan (CWP) system
