Financial Operations Coordinator (Cash Management) (IRC27872)

Brief Posting Description

Responsible for assisting with the management of systems, operational processes and applications that enable centralized monitoring and administration of Tri-State's cash management functions. Acts as overall department team advocate and change agent for potential modifications to existing Cash Management processes and solutions. Works directly with team members and participates in Cash Group discovery sessions including the evaluation, recommendation and implementation of treasury automation and process improvements that foster and develop a "best in class" environment for the Cash Group. Lead approved operational improvement projects, implementing systems, enhancements, and upgrades that formulate new or revised policies and procedures for cash operations. Responsible for gaining and maintaining sufficient knowledge and understanding of various team member's daily responsibilities in order to act in a backup capacity as needed.

REQUIRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Training

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or other related field.

Knowledge, Skills, and Ability:

  • Working knowledge of automated banking/treasury systems and products with a demonstrated ability to assist in their development and implementation.
  • Experience with Oracle 11i EBS, SAS Reporting, GTreasury, MHC Document Express, Hyperion are a plus.
  • General knowledge of money markets and the effect of economic conditions on the markets.
  • A solid understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
  • Extensive working knowledge of personal computers and computerized accounting systems with a demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft products. Advanced Excel skills are essential.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to independently manage work across multiple initiatives.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong prioritization and organization skills with the ability to work with deadlines and effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Experience:

Five (5) to eight (8) years of experience in cash management, banking or financial analysis experience.

Other:

  • Willingness to travel as required. (Must possess a valid driver's license.)
  • Must be able to demonstrate that he/she can perform all of the essential functions of the position.

DESIRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation desired.
