Information Manager I

The Information Manager I will be responsible for working with the Digital Office Suite (Office 365) and Information Management team to support the organization in leveraging new enterprise collaboration capabilities in a secure, controlled, and managed approach.  The Information Manager I will work to understand requirements for transforming information from legacy enterprise content stores to modern technologies while aligning with organization and industry information management best practices.  The Information Manager I will work to understand requirements for transforming information from legacy enterprise content stores to modern technologies while aligning with organization and industry information management best practices. The Information Manager I will be responsible for working with the Digital Office Suite (Office 365) and Information Management team to support the organization in leveraging new enterprise collaboration capabilities in a secure, controlled, and managed approach.  The Information Manager I will work to understand requirements for transforming information from legacy enterprise content stores to modern technologies while aligning with organization and industry information management best practices. The Information Manager I will be responsible for working with the Digital Office Suite (Office 365) and Information Management team to support the organization in leveraging new enterprise collaboration capabilities in a secure, controlled, and managed approach.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Interact with the business and information management team to analyze and plan the migration approach in accordance with standing operating procedures (SOP) and legal requirements
  • Gathers requirements from business segments to understand their information lifecycle processes and assist in the cleanup of legacy information and identifying information that must abide by regulatory requirements
  • Assist in information discovery, dispensation, and migration of critical business information from legacy content repositories while applying information management processes
  • Monitors and reports to supervisor on project status and outstanding issues
  • Ensure the migration and information management strategy aligns with architectural standards and established methodologies and practices
  • Works with outside consultants/vendors in the development and implementation of business-sponsored deliverables while ensuring on-time and within budget
  • Willingness to learn and understand information management and information architecture

 Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Management Systems, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or Business Administration from an accredited college or university required.  Three (3) or more years of experience with Information Management and Enterprise Content Management systems required.  Knowledge of SharePoint, Office 365, and enterprise information management preferred.  Strong task management, customer contact, and task prioritization skills are required.  Knowledge of best practices and industry trends in enterprise information management and information architecture is preferred.

In addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate will demonstrate:

The ability to manage multiple priorities with a high incidence of changing requirements, analyze and clarify ambiguous requests/instructions, meet very aggressive deadlines and demanding work schedules, and manage large workloads. The Information Manager works a standard day-shift in an office environment.
