Austin Energy’s Information Technology (AE-IT) seeks an IT Project Manager Sr. to execute operational technology projects related to capacity planning and life-cycle management efforts that will:

Comply with vendor software licensing requirements
Ensure sufficient licensing is available when needed
Meet future project needs
Meet future technology needs for IT managed technologies
Improve budget forecasting for data storage, network capacity, applications, middleware and equipment (servers, network devices, etc.) EOS and EOL to plan replacement and decommissioning

Pay Range

$41.78 – $55.31

Hours

Mon-Fri; 8 AM – 5 PM
Schedule is based on business needs and may change according to departmental needs. Work hours may include after-hours, holidays, and weekends, as needed, for operational or project support.

Position is considered “Essential Personnel”. You may be required to work during inclement weather or other situations where it is imperative that operations continue 24×7.
