Position Specific Description
The professional chosen for this role will work primarily in the Portfolio Level of SAFe ensuring we have clear strategic themes, along with a lean portfolio and a defined budget process. As an IT Technology Director, this person will be responsible for portfolio management, managing the inflow of new projects, and reporting and KPI metrics. In addition, he or she will provide support for Product Owners and will be heavily involved in the coaching and community of our Practice Leaders. As an organization, we will look to this individual to promote consistency across teams and ensure effective alignment with various teams in other functional areas. As a Director, this individual will provide valuable leadership and stakeholder input to ensure tools continue to evolve in support of our Agile transformation. The IT Director- Agile PMO will have the opportunity to work with the Vice President to set vision and direction to the organization and contribute to achieving the companies’ goals.
This position establishes strategy, develops business plans, and oversees and directs the design, development and implementation of technology solutions to meet business needs. Leaders in this role provide leadership and oversight to manage performance and results in one or more Information Technology (IT) disciplines. Individuals will be accountable for the reliability, performance, security, and continuity of IT systems and supported business processes.
