$35.85 - $40.46/hr

Commensurate with training and education

Perform skilled work to assist in the construction and maintenance of overhead and underground electric transmission and distribution lines.  Set poles for lights and power lines: set single and three-phase pad mount transformers and underground transformers, install concrete and transformer bases.  Climb transmission and distribution poles. String primary and secondary lines, connect and disconnect energized lines, and install conductors or insulators. Install fiber optic cable. Troubleshoot single phase and 3 phase underground primary loops. Successful completion of a four year accredited lineworker apprentice program that includes at least 7,500 hours of on-the-job training. Must maintain a valid class A CDL with airbrake and combination trailer endorsements. Must maintain CPR certification.

Must obtain licensing and/or certification in pole top rescue, bucket truck rescue, confined spaces, and climbing.
