Position Summary

Enhance the competencies, knowledge and business impact of employees and teams by designing and conducting training programs aligned with the enterprise learning strategy. Works closely with Learning Business Partners on developing learning solutions based on requests or needs assessments in the business. Responsible for supporting enterprise-wide training initiatives. Works with subject matter expert groups within the business to enable them to help facilitate needed training. Provides train-the-trainer support throughout the enterprise, including the Training Centers of Excellence (COEs). May have responsibility for certain ongoing training programs, supported by the Enterprise Learning COE.

Essential Responsibilities


  • Working with the Learning Business partners, help assess business area or enterprise training needs and provide learning solution design and delivery recommendations. Formulate teaching outline and recommend instructional methods such as individual training, group instruction, lectures, demonstrations, conferences, meetings and workshops.
  • Conducts training with individuals, groups or in train-the-trainer scenarios. Development of training materials including multi-media visual aids, demonstrations, exercises, digital solutions (in partnership with e-Learning team), etc. Coordination of training scheduling, with help from learning support roles. Ensure effectiveness measures are completed, and continuous improvement to training quality and impact.
  • Maintain awareness of new learning trends and tools. Serve as subject matter expert within the Enterprise Learning COE regarding best practices in learning delivery, especially in-person training methodologies and facilitation skills.


Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or certifications in learning & development related field or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Four years of experience in delivering training events in a corporate setting.
  • Extensive knowledge of instructional design theory and learning principles.
  • Skilled in MS Office and knowledge of learning management software.
  • Familiarity with traditional and emerging training methods, tools and techniques.
  • Ability to conduct cost-benefit analysis and calculate training ROI.
  • Sound organizational skills.
  • Ability to present complex information to a variety of audiences in impactful ways



  • Experience as a classroom trainer/facilitator
  • Experience facilitating virtual training classes
  • Experience with developing and/or conducting train-the-trainer programs
  • Experience with adult learning principles
  • Experience with measuring learning effectiveness
