Position Specific Description

Our Florida City Gas team is growing and you could be the missing link! Join us now as a Operations Planning and Scheduling Supervisor. In this role you will be responsible for aligning priorities and allocating resources to support customer satisfaction, compliance, and emergency response long range business plans. To be successful in this role,  superior organizational skills, financial acumen, analytical ability, and strong relationship building skills are a must!

 

The selected candidate for this role may report out of the St. Lucie, Doral, or Brevard office.

Job Overview

This job is responsible for overseeing the planning and scheduling of all operational departments to include both employee and work schedule management.  Employees in this role ensure all compliance and customer appointment targets are met.  This position supervises of a team of people that are charged with specific functions as it related to operational compliance tracking, workforce scheduling, and enterprise reporting.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assists in producing yearly, monthly, and weekly work plans that support corporate objectives through analysis of pending workload and resource availability
  • Monitors progress for established programs and projects and provides direction when needed to ensure objectives are met
  • Monitors key performance indicators to meet corporate objectives and ensures all service levels are successfully met while maintaining an ongoing evaluation of procedures
  • Ensures work plans include proper resource allocations and staffing levels to achieve desired targets
  • Collaborates with support team during system outages and scheduled maintenance activities
  • Develops and implements departmental procedures that enhance team efficiencies, mitigating risks that could negatively impact corporate objective
  • Trains, assists and monitors employees on all departmental and regulatory standards and ensure compliance to organizational policies and procedures
  • Generates reports and maintains documentation for departmental, management, and regulatory agencies
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • High School Grad / GED
  • Experience: 5+ years

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience: 7+ years
  • Supervisor/Management Experience: 3+ years
