1. Working in close proximity to some energized high voltage power plant electrical equipment; in power plant environment with exposure to loud noise, confined spaces and extreme weather conditions
2. In this position you will be required to work using personal protective equipment (PPE), such as but not limited to: safety glasses, hard hat, safety shoes, arc flash PPE, rubber gloves.
3. This position must travel among AE power plants and chilled water plants

-Experience working in mechanical or civil/structural engineering
-Field work experience in plant environment
-Experience with Gas and Steam Turbines, operations and maintenance
-Experience with pumps, from low pressure high flow circulating water pumps, to high pressure multistage boiler feed pumps.
-Diagnosing problems and finding solutions to repair and restore in plant operations.
-Experience with valving.
-Experience with materials to correctly select and apply materials for replacement and upgrade in the plant, also experience with joining procedures for these materials such as welding procedures, fitting specification, flanges etc.
-Experience with piping in plant environment. This would include materials used for different applications, thicknesses used for different applications, calculating stresses, monitoring pipe support systems, insulating systems.Duties, Functions and Responsibilities
