In this role you will be managing small projects and task oriented scope for large projects. You will manage projects to ensure they are completed on schedule, within budget, and that all work is performed in a safe manner. In conjunction with completing the project on schedule
and within budget ensure every effort is being employed to make sure that the technical and functional requirements specified by DOE are being met. Develop teams as appropriate to successfully complete projects.
Develop and manage for assigned small projects and assist for large projects with full project scope from formulation stages to project control and performance measurements through project delivery and closeout. Responsible for technical comprehension of engineering, procurement, and industry processes including their interfaces and interdependencies. Utilize the use of construction, operations, R&D, and business systems throughout the project to assure project scope is accomplished, schedules are met, and work is completed within budget. Establish and maintain liaison with the customer throughout the entire project to resolve problems and coordinate service functions. You will be responsible to act as lead for assigned small projects in planning and establishing schedules, forecasts, budgets, parameters, etc., and monitor progress to assure schedules are met and work is performed within budget. Bachelor's degree plus 2 years professional experience, or an Advanced degree plus 2 years professional experience. Must have experience working with management. Demonstrated experience managing projects or project scope is preferred. Demonstrated successful leadership experience. Project planning experience is required. Project implementation experience is required.
