Chelan’s Reliability Compliance Analysts are part of a strong, high-performing team, and have the opportunity to work with a variety of Standard Owners across several business units
The Reliability Compliance Analysts work with Standard Owners to develop and implement sound tactical programs, procedures and operational processes to enhance electric system reliability and facilitate compliance with NERC and WECC requirements. This includes both Operations, Maintenance & Planning Standards and CIP Cybersecurity Standards. The incumbent will also develop and implement preventative, detective and compensating compliance controls and best practices across the company to monitor and facilitate reliability compliance.
The purpose for this career level position is to enhance electric system reliability and facilitate compliance with regulatory requirements related to system reliability and/or electric system cyber security through the development of operational program technical processes and controls. In conjunction with subject matter experts, this position will develop and implement sound tactical programs, procedures and operational processes. Develop and implement preventative, detective and compensating compliance controls and best practices across the District to monitor and facilitate compliance. The career level position works on complex issues and standards. This level also leads teams, projects and mentors and/or trains lower level analysts.

Bachelor's degree (B. S., B. A.) in a science, technology, engineering, or math (STEM) field, public administration, business, or a related field from a college or university; or equivalent combination of education and NERC/WECC experience. Candidates with a Juris Doctorate, master’s degree or relevant certifications may substitute 2 years of the experience requirement.
Desired licenses & certifications (one or more):
•Certified Information System Security professional (CISSP);
•Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA);
•Certified SCADA Security Architect (CSSA);
•Certified Protection Professional (CPP);
•Physical Security Professional (PSP);
•Professional Engineering License;
•NERC System Operator Certification; or
•Project Management Professional
Typically requires at least three (3) years of professional experience in a legal or regulatory compliance occupation. Candidates with demonstrated NERC/WECC Reliability Compliance experience strongly preferred.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
The position may be filled at a level II or III. In addition to a competitive salary range of $77,680 - $117,600 (based on qualifications, skills and abilities), Chelan PUD employees also enjoy outstanding benefits which include the option of a zero cost medical plan (medical, dental and vision for all eligible dependents), short and long-term disability, Washington State Public Employee's Retirement System, Deferred Compensation (with company matching funds up to 5%), 11 holidays and initial personal leave accrual at 21 days per year.
