Function as a Shift Supervisor for authorizing and monitoring work performed in assigned facility. Oversee operation activities to ensure the facility is operated safely and in full compliance with all laboratory requirements, federal and state regulations, orders, and permits. Maintain accountable for asset management and budgeting to ensure facility, equipment, and operating procedures are adequate and ready to carry out the SMC mission. Support compliance to programs such as VPP, ISMS, Contractor Assurance Program, Quality Assurance Program, Conduct of Operations, and Conduct of Maintenance. Manages work by providing guidance and direction to other staff
Must be a US Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy (DOE) "L" Security Clearance
Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of relevant experience or Master's and 3 years. 13 years of experience may be accepted in lieu of degree
Must be able to acquire and maintain SMC Shift Supervisor qualifications Selective Service Requirements
