Participate in the design, implementation, and test of software systems.
Prepare and maintain designs and test documentation.
Mentor Associate Engineers and Technicians.
Follow and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.
Understand. Create. Simplify.
Other duties as assigned.
B.S. in Computer Science, or equivalent
Typically 2+ years experience in one or more of the following areas:
Web Services: REST API, WebSocket, GraphQL
Server Technology: NodeJS, Golang, Java, NoSQL DBs, Relational DBs
Containers: Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher
Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills
Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
Background check results satisfactory to SEL
Negative drug test result(s)
Experience in agile development
Experience in microservice architectures
Experience in automation applications
Experience developing desktop applications for Windows using C#
