SPECIALIST, CUSTOMER SERVICE (XA4954)
About The Position
The Specialist, Customer Service position is primarily responsible for technical design, estimating and system improvements regarding construction on utility distribution lines and/or mains.
Key responsibilities include:
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant discipline, e.g., Business Administration, Marketing or Engineering OR an Associate’s Degree with four or more years of specific experience in utility distribution line design or construction required. All candidates must have a grade of C or better in the following college level courses: two semesters of Algebra and/or Trigonometry or one semester of Calculus, and one semester of Physics. The Physics requirement may be completed within the first two full semesters following placement in the position. Experience in utility (i.e. distribution line, surveying, estimating) or main design or construction preferred. Experience using hand tools and equipment preferred.
In addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate will demonstrate:
Good decision-making, communication, and human relations skills. Knowledge of gas standards, procedures and distribution systems. Basic mechanical skills.

Subject to emergency call-out and duty supervisor responsibilities. Considerable walking over rough terrain.
