Supervisor, Customer Service
Represent the Company as a single point of contact with customers, builders, developers, and other appropriate contacts regarding service requests.
Process and monitor customer applications for service, providing customer with information on rates, charges, programs, service requirements, and other technical expertise as required.
Obtain all required customer approvals, easements, and rights-of-way to prepare appropriate contracts, permits, releases, plats, and records.
Make field inspections and prepare material and labor estimates and all plats and drawings for proposed construction, rehabilitation, relocation, or maintenance of company-owned facilities.
Design all jobs in accordance with Company standards.
Recognize and refer opportunities for implementation of Company marketing programs by maintaining a partnership with marketing functions.
Accept and handle special requests, as assigned.
Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university or an Associates degree with 4 years of experience in utility distribution line or main design or construction. All candidates must have a grade of C or better in the following college level courses: two (2) semesters of Algebra and/or Trigonometry (or one (1) semester of Calculus), and one (1) semester of Physics. (The Physics requirement may be completed within the first two full semesters following placement in the position.) Must successfully pass Company's EEI Technical Aptitude Test and Sales and Marketing Test.
Prefer experience in utility distribution line or main design or construction. Must be able to use hand tools and equipment.
Good decision-making, communication, and human relations? skills. Subject to emergency call-out and duty supervisor responsibilities. Considerable walking over rough terrain. Must meet residency requirements and possess or obtain a Class A Commercial Drivers license.
