Position Specific Description

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain rate-related reporting and analyses utilizing the Company’s data warehouse and Utilities International.
  • Develop and prepare analyses and presentations for tariff and rate design related matters using advanced regulatory knowledge, communication and organizational skills.
  • Support rate-related regulatory proceedings needed to obtain regulatory approval of rates not limited to preparing filings, testimony, minimum filing requirements, and responding to discovery.
  • Perform Ad-hoc analysis as needed.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
  • Work is specialized and complex in nature.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and experience with software used for analyzing and reporting with large datasets (Excel, Access, Power BI).
  • Write and validate complex SQL queries.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in team settings with minimal supervision.
  • Must have the ability to meet deadlines under changing conditions.

 

 

Job Overview

Employees in this role are responsible for the development of rates, lead research, billing determinants and revenues associated with those rates as well as filings associated with rate approval.

•   Takes lead role in the cost of service and rate design for functional areas (retail, wholesale or adjustment clause)
•   Develops rate structures and prices to meet corporate objectives
•   Prepares filings, including testimony and minimum filing requirements
•   Obtains regulatory approval of the rates
•   Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications


•  High School Grad / GED
•  Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience
•  Experience:5+ years

Preferred Qualifications


•  Bachelor's - Business Administration
•  Bachelor's - Engineering
