Graduation with a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in a related field, plus three (3) years experience providing customer service for a utility or other commercial/government organization.
Experience may substitute for education up to a maximum of four (4) years.Notes to Applicants
This position will include the job duties and responsibilities of:
o Effective & Timely Communication with field personnel and leadership related field assistance
o Completing field activities in MWM related to remotely disconnected/connected meters
o Tracking results of the remote orders processes to include entering/updating findings within the Austin Energy’s internal tracking system
o Provide regular updates on projects to management
o Running Reports and Data gathering related to daily work functions and/or projects
This position is categorized as Essential Personnel. Essential personnel is required to come to work during emergencies or bad weather if they are scheduled to work and in some cases when they are not scheduled.
Shift may change according to departmental needs.
Work hours may include after hours, holidays, and weekends.
Additional hours may be required to work outside of normal schedule.
Travel: This position, on occasion, may involve travel between various locations.
